What IS REIKI?

The word “Reiki” means “mysterious atmosphere, miraculous sign.” It comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy).
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing. It emerged in Japan in the late 1800’s and is said to involve the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms to their patient.

- Reiki has been around for thousands of years. It is commonly referred to as palm healing or hands-on healing. Its current form was first developed during 1922 by a Japanese Buddhist called Mikao Usui, who reportedly taught 2,000 people, the Reiki method, during his lifetime. The practice spread to the U.S. through Hawaii in the 1940s, and then to Europe in the 1980s. But after his death, one of his students — a lady named Mrs. Hawayo Takata — took over as president of the school.
- Mrs. Hawayo Takata wanted to train people to become master Reiki healers. They were charged with keeping the tradition alive. But it actually did not happen this way. A few leading teachers CHANGED the way they taught Reiki.
- So, over the years, the original aims and trainings of Reiki have been LOST, MUDDIED and OBSCURED by all those changes.
- Focusing on charging a lot of money and altering the original training … forced the original teachings of Reiki to get lost with time. Once the original teachings of the founder, Mikao Usui is followed and original teachings are practiced, applying the original techniques gives miraculous and staggering results. At the same time, these techniques are easy, simple and fast.

I have earned this REIKI MASTER certification from the seventh disciple of Original REIKI founder Mikao Usui with his original and genuine techniques for healing through energy. I am based out of NCR Delhi and perform successful practise with proven results.
Reiki is an inherent natural quality and a miraculous divine gift present in every human being which can be effectively used to heal self and others. I acknowledge that anything is possible in healing. The human body is a marvellous self-healing mechanism, and we often underestimate the ability of the body and the human spirit to recover from illness and trauma. At the same time, I emphasize the difference between curing and healing, affirming that while curing does not always occur, healing is always possible.
For those who cannot get Reiki Healing physically because of being far or any other reason, I do distant healing for them which is equally effective as in-person healing.
